Ulysses Irenaeus Tope, son of Hiram G. Tope and Mary A.

November 1870 in Perrysville, Carroll Co., Ohio, and died 15
December 1938 in Perrysville, Carroll Co., Ohio

note 1]. He married
Catherine Anna Calcott, daughter of Benjamin Calcott and Jannette
McLandsborough on 22 January 1902. Catherine was born 26
August 1872 in Stone Creek, Ohio and died 23 January 1948 [note 2].
Dr. Tope had practiced medicine at
Perrysville since his graduation
from Ohio Medical School at Columbus in 1895.
Ulyssis and Catherine had two children:

Mildred Jannett Tope was
born 16 July 19061, and died 4 October 1992 [note
3].
She married Frankli Roscoe Butterfield [note 4], son
of William Butterfield and
Loretta Gamble. He
was born 25
Mar 1901, and died 17 May 1969.

Wilma Lois Tope married John
Everett Longsworth, son
of John Longsworth and Della Saviers.
He
was born 28 September 1914 in Carroll Co., Ohio [note 4], and died 12
June 1996 in Columbus,
Franklin, Ohio [note 5]. They had two children.
