Sarah Alice TOPE was born 5 May 1872 in Van Wert Co., Ohio, and died 29 July 1945 in Paulding Co. Ohio. Sarah married Foster R. McDOUGAL in Paulding Co., Ohio on 11 March 1896 [note 1].  Foster was born 18 April 1876 and died 23 December 1948 in Paulding Co., Ohio.  They are buried in St. Paul's Cemetery, Paulding Co., Ohio.

1. William Arthur McDOUGAL, born 1896, died 1973 in Deshler, Ohio; married Ida Edith LAMB
2. Edna Belle McDOUGAL, born 21 April 1900 died 21 June 1976; married William BOROFF
3. Hilda McDOUGAL, born 1903, died 1910; buried in St. Paul's Cemetery, Paulding Co, Ohio.
4. Theodore F. McDOUGAL, born 31 December 1906 in Paulding Co., Ohio; married Genevieve ----.
5. Martha McDOUGAL, born 1909; married Leo FLINT who was born 1909.
