John Donaldson, of Carroll county, 0., in the year 1840 [note 1]. To them were born twelve

and Nancy C.
"Of these children, William
G. (a soldier in the first heavy artillery, Co.
G) married Julia
Morgan, by whom they had six children: Ebert
C., Bertha, Hattie, Abert,
Nelson and one that died
in infancy. The mother died soon after, leaving the five children.
"William G.
was married again to Miss Mollie Eackes
[note 2], and they have
three children more: Lillie,
Walton and Clauda. Bertha,
the oldest daughter, married
U.S. Minor [note 3],
and they have three children---two boys and one girl. P.O. address for
them is Glady, Gallia county, O.--

They had eight

and one that died in infancy. George
married Alice Smith, and

"Mary M., married William H. White [note

children: Alice, Laura, Mary
K., John and Berchum, the other two dying very
young; the mother died January 29, 1884. Alice
married James Friley,
Gallipolis, 0., and they have two sons. Laura
married George Carroll, of
Bidwell, 0. They have two sons---

A. married Jacob N. Carter
[note 6], of Glenray, 0., and
had
twelve children: Cary, Lena, Frank,
Truman, Homer,
Effie, Effel, Cora, and four dead. Cary married John
Perkins, of Glenray, 0., and has one

The mother died, and he was married again to Jane
Philips and another

John and Perry and one dead. Alva T. died December 9, 1890. His

L. Warner: they had three children: Vosie,
Laura and one who died in
infancy. His wife died in Carroll county, and he married again in
Gallia county, Susa Thornton,
and has two more sons:

"Christy Ann died July 8,
1847----
"Lauretta is still at home
unmarried.
"This makes him (the 3rd
George) 66
grand-children and 21 great-grand-children, in whom he takes great
interest. He is a farmer living at White post-office, 0. He is serving
his third term as Justice of the Peace."
