GEORGE M. TOPE

   George M. Tope, son of Jacob Tope and Hettie Green, was born about 1843 in Carrollton, Carroll Co., Ohio.  He married Ruth Elizabeth Hood, daughter of William Hood and Eleanor Hill on  23 December 1875 in Missouri,  [note 1].  She was born 9 September 1858 in Carroll Co., Missouri [note 2].  
    Children of George and Ruth are:

1. Clyde Tope.
2. Ethel Blanche Tope.
3. George Wilbur Tope.
4. William Jessie Tope.
5. Joseph Earnest Tope was born 2 September 1881 and died in October 1966 in Casper, Natrona Co., Wyoming  [note 3].  He married  Flora L. ---, who was born 17 May 1896 and died  24 August 1994. Joseph and Flora died in Casper, Natrona Co., Wyoming [note 4].
6. John Bascom Tope was born about 1884 in Missouri [note 5].
7. Mary  Lydia Tope was born in 1886 in Missouri, and in 1900 she lived in Henry Co., Missouri [note 6].         
8. Ezra Golden Tope was born 2 June 1887, and in 1900 he lived in Bethlehem, Henry Co., Missouri [note 7].
9. Nellie Hetty Elenor Tope was born in about 1891 in Missouri [note 8].
